Sunny dive on Luis mid May 2016

A successful first dive day of the year for our RIB Cobra – to the wreck of the Luis, east of the Isle of Wight. Sunshine, good slack water, reasonable underwater visibility, and both wreckage and marine life to satisfy all interests, and the boat was full of happy divers on the return journey! Sunday 15th May. The Luis was a British steamship built in 1916, and sunk just 2 years later, on 12th April 1918, after being hit by a torpedo.

Cobra arrives on the coast

Our larger boat is now in its summer quarters, down at Royal Clarence Marina, Gosport, ready for taking us out to the many dive sites within easy reach of Portsmouth.
